Dune Prophecy
10,000 years before the birth of Paul Atreides, DUNE: PROPHECY follows two Harkonnen sisters as they look out for the future of humankind and establish the fabled Sisterhood that will become known as the Bene Gesserit.

ILP had the pleasure of providing VFX for every episode of Dune: Prophecy, with our biggest contributions featured in the first and last episodes of the season.
This project has been a passion project for many here at ILP, so we were very excited when it was confirmed that we would be creating the Bene Gesserit’s home planet, Wallach IX.
Wallach IX is a recurring location that we knew needed to hold up from a variety of angles. Early in the process, we collaborated closely with VFX Supervisor Michael Enriquez and Producer Terron Pratt to establish multiple camera angles that helped us understand the environment and identify key areas that would need some extra love and attention.
Our work on the season has been highly varied, ranging from full CG environments and space shots to developing the immolation effect seen near the end of the first episode.
Another exciting challenge was expanding the Dune universe with new spaceship designs. ILP was tasked with conceptualising and building ships like the Shuttle and the Ballistas, bringing fresh additions to this iconic setting.
